The experiences in the districts of Chitwan and Kapilvastu are successfully generating new opportunities for the rural poor by diversifying their sources of livelihood, recognizing women’s role in network strengthening and enabling pro-rural poor Private-Public Partnerships.
Public and private development institutions and key resource people working in favour of rural communities are invited to participate in the Route. Especially those working on gender equality and women’s empowerment, livelihood improvement, community natural resource management, rural micro-finance, member-based organizations and new businesses development.
