Food for Action & Food for Thought Events - Growing Leaders

The organisation Growing Leaders wants to inform Dutch Young Professionals on the possibilities of and link between business and food. They are organising 2 series of workshops, lectures and meetings for these YPs to connect with companies in the food sector: Food for Thought and Food for Action. Note that these events will be organised in Dutch! Food for Thought Do you want to know more about the connection between business and hunger? Looking for food for thought about ways to make profit and reducing poverty at the same time? Then join Growing Leaders. Growing Leaders organizes a series of events about hunger free ways of doing business. In these meetings they investigate the relationship between Dutch enterprises and hunger.
  • March 26: Monday Meetup at Seats2Meet Utrecht, 15.00 - 17.00 o’clock
  • April 3: Workshop at Priva, 15.00 – 19.00 o’clock, with Meiny Prins (director of Priva en businesswoman of the year 2009) and Karim Erja (director SeiSei and brand builder)
  • April 12: Workshop at Boer & Croon, 18.30 – 22.00 o’clock, with Michiel van Ginkel (director Hak), Marietta Smid (advisor sustainability policy ASN bank)
  • April 18: workshop in Friesland, 19.00 – 22.00 o ‘clock

Then register for Growing Leaders: Food for Action. In 7 meetings between May 15 and November 14, 2012 you develop ideas for hunger free changes in your business. Growing Leaders will accompany you in living out your initiative and taking personal charge. Substantively you will be fed with masterclasses about hunger, hungerfree business and leadership.
